I know there are a lot of you that have kids that can ride bikes and go for miles.  Even without the training wheels...not so much for Emily.  She's too much of a drama queen to do that.  Typically she'll take off guns blazin', then she fades.  She gets stuck and instead of fighting through it, there is a melt down.  She collapses on the street.  Then there is a huge tantrum when we tell her to get back on and keep trying.  Today however she made it around the block without freaking out.  She had to stop for breaks, but she kept calm.  Slowly, but very surely, we are making progress.
