With Peggy and Kent on their 2.5 month vacation and my parents headed out of town this evening, that meant that Katie had to go to my doctor's appointment with me.  I will try to avoid this in the future for sure.  Waiting was trying, but the appointment was easy.  Happy baby, with a good strong heartbeat.  Can't complain about that!
